| This was our first attempt at writing a non-fiction paragraph. We read Bats by Gail Gibbons. The children then came up with 5 details to develop into a paragraph. We discussed topic sentences and auditioned them for our paragraphs. Goals: Read non-fiction text and retain details Use graphic organizer to plan writing Turn details into sentences Explain echolocation and nocturnal Indent Good spelling and grammar (Always!) |
