Emilie - The Bat Habits
Bats have interesting habits.  They have lots of habits, but I can only name a few.  Bats have an interesting way of finding their food.  They use a special thing called echolocation.  Bats are also nocturnal.  They are active at night.  When they sleep, they sleep upside down.  And when bats fly they land upside down.  They also feel soft but, they are not a bird.  You should learn about bats too.

Ben - Bats
Bats use echolocation.  Bats use echolocation to hunt for things to eat or not to eat.  Bats like eating bugs.  Some like to eat blood.  Bats can sense direction so they know if its their predator or their prey.  Bats have special eyes to see far away and to catch insects.   I saw a bone of a bat at a museum.

Jordon - Night Flyers
Bats fly in the dark sky.  Bats use echolocation to find things to eat.  It senses sounds and it bounces off bugs and comes back to the bat and tells the bat which way to go.  Bats are a nocturnal animal.  Bats are the only mammals that fly.  I think bats are scary and perfect for Halloween.

Andy - Bats Are Cool
Bats have interesting habits.  Bats can fly very high even though it is a mammal.  Bats use echolocation to hear how far away their food is.  Bats eat nectar and insects.  A bat's habitat is in a dark, cool place.  I think bats have good habits.

Gage - Super Bats
Bats have interesting characteristics.  A bat's membrane on its wings make it fly.  If there were no membrane, they could  not fly.  It is hard to find a bat.  Echolocation helps bat find their prey.  Then they swoop down and kill it.  Bats can be bug eaters or fruit and meat eaters.

Jayden - Night Flyers
Bats have intersting characteristics.  Bats are nocturnal animals; this meand they are active during the night.  They use echolocation that helps them search for bugs.  They have a membrane between each finger.  They are the only flying mammal.  They have good eyesite too.

Kayla - Night Flyers
Bats fly in the night sky.  Bats are good flyers.  They fly in the night.  Bats use echolocation to find food.  Some types of bats eat fruit.  Bats are the only mammals that can fly.  Bats are nocturnal.  It means that they sleep in the morning and they hunt at night.  Echolocation means that the bat throws a signal to find food.
