| On September 16, 1620, 102 passengers boarded the Mayflower for a journey to the New World. Sixty-six days later the ship landed in what is now known as Cape Cod Bay. This was not the planned destination, but due to the lateness in the year, and the rocky coast, the passengers decided to stay in the Cape. We have assumed the names of children who were actually aboard the Mayflower. We will learn of the hardships these brave pilgrims faced and the reasons for their journey.
