Bamboo is also sometimes used to make houses. Native Chinese use bamboo to make their tents. Giant pandas need more space because people are cutting down bambee. Today there are reservations where pandas can live. If someone kills any panda, it is declared an official crime. Giant pandas need more bamboo to eat because people are cutting down forests. They also need more so they can give birth, hide, and have fun. There are less than 1,000 giant pandas living in the forests of China. There are that few because people are destroying their habitat. China is loaning them to other zoos in the world because China wants the giant pandas to stay safe. People now realize how many giant pandas are living in the wild. Now we are starting to take care of them. Today most of them are in zoos. People have stopped cutting down giant panda property. Now they have enough bambee. Now they have destroyed enough property. Now they will save the giant pandas. |
